Meet Dr. Apoor Gami, a board-certified cardiac electrophysiology physician at Elmhurst Hospital and with Midwest Cardiovascular Institute. Dr. Gami’s medical interests include sudden cardiac arrest, defibrillators, cryoablation, bi-ventricular devices, atrial fibrillation, and arrhythmias. Dr. Gami was the first in the state – and one of the first in the country – to use Arctic Front Cardiac CryoAblation Catheter System (cryoballoon technology) to treat patients with atrial fibrillation on January 18, 2011.
