Why does my body get stuck at a certain weight?

In this video, Amanda Davenport, PA, discusses why our body can get stuck at a certain weight.

As Davenport explains, our basal metabolic rate is the number of calories our body needs to complete our activities of daily living. As we start to lose weight, that number decreases. Yet, as we lose weight, our body often says "I'm hungry and I want to eat more." This is why it's important to stick with logging foods to see where calories are coming from. Davenport concludes with ideas for what you can do when you find yourself at a plateau in your weight loss journey. Watch the video to learn more.
