Working out in water can help ease pain and relieve stress on joints. As a medically-based health and fitness center, we offer specialty aquatics classes to patients with Parkinson’s disease, fibromyalgia and arthritis pain. Children’s Aquatics – Group Swimming Lessons
Edward Elmhurst Health & Fitness is happy to continue small group children’s swim lessons with our main goal of keeping everyone happy & healthy! Our programming has been adjusted to keep your children safe - class sizes are now smaller to enforce physical distancing and on deck protocols have been developed in response to COVID-19.

Summer 2022 Children’s Swimming Lessons
This summer at Edward-Elmhurst Health & Fitness we are offering two different types of swimming lessons to help accommodate everyone’s summer schedules. Check them out below!
EIGHT Week Program: June 6 - August 6 (These lessons are once a week for eight weeks)
TWO Week Programs
Round One: June 6 - June 16
Round Two: June 20 - June 30
Round Three: July 11 - July 21
Round Four: July 25 - August 4
Children’s Aquatics Private Swimming Lessons:
Private swimming lessons provide personalized skill training, swim analysis, technique correction, and endurance building skills at your swimmer’s pace. Private swimming lessons are for swimmers ranging between 6 months & 16 years old. We work on swim training & coaching with our older and more advanced swimmers and introduction to water & safety skills to our beginner swimmers. We are offering 30 minute individual or partner lessons. These lessons are available to both members and non-members of the fitness center.
