New Moms Support Groups

Our weekly New Mom Support Groups are for any new parents in our community. They are led by an experienced Mother/Baby nurse or IBCLC and usually include a guest speaker on a topic of interest to new parents. These in-person groups also include Breastfeeding Support at each meeting. Bring your baby (newborn – 6 months) with you! Moms-to-be are also welcome!

Due to the potential spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), social distancing is recommended.  Masks are required at any healthcare facility but optional at the church. Please check this page prior to coming to an in-person support group as any schedule changes will be listed here. Or you can call the New Mom Support Group phone line at 630-527-3957 to see if the groups have been canceled on that particular day—especially during inclement weather. We will post the cancellation no later than 9 a.m. on the date of the meeting.

Edward-Elmhurst Health promotes vaccinations for babies and parents. Some babies are too young for certain vaccines, so please do not attend if you or your baby have fever, colds, flu-like symptoms, or rashes. Please ask one of the nurses if you have any questions on recent recommendation for vaccines.
