COVID-19 screening options

Call your doctor if you have symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19), such as a fever and/or symptoms of respiratory illness (e.g., cough, difficulty breathing), and/or if you've been in close contact with a person known to have COVID-19 or recently traveled to an area with COVID-19.

You can also find out if you need to be tested by using one of these screening options.

Video Visit for COVID-19 Symptoms

On-demand Video Visits with a healthcare provider are available through the MyEEHealth™ mobile app (and MyChart® mobile app).

A Video Visit is similar to a video conferencing call. You may use the MyChart website but make sure your computer has a camera and test your hardware before the visit. Select "Start a Video Visit Now" in MyChart.

Availability: 8 am to 4 pm, 7 days a week, for all Edward-Elmhurst Health MyChart active patients

E-Visit for COVID-19 Symptoms

You can request an E-Visit by completing an online questionnaire in MyChart. It takes approximately 20 minutes to complete your E-Visit request, which is reviewed by our Physician Assistants (PAs) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs).

You can expect a response (in the form of a MyChart message) from our staff within 1-2 hours when you submit your request between 8 am to 4 pm, 7 days a week. Select "Send an E-Visit Message" in MyChart.

Availability: 24/7 for MyChart active patients who have a primary care physician with Edward Medical Group, Elmhurst Medical Associates, Elmhurst Memorial Medical Group or Elmhurst Clinic. Find a list of these providers here
