How to make referral

Do you have a patient who would be a good candidate for treatment at the Cardiac Innovations & Structural Heart Center®?

A seamless, personal referral experience

Referring a patient is simple. First, call our patient coordinator at 630-527-3730 to schedule an initial consultation for your patient.

All consultations take place at the Edward-Elmhurst Heart Hospital, 801 S. Washington St., Naperville, Illinois.

What to expect

On the day of the consultation, your patient will be examined by Mark Goodwin, MD, system medical director for the Center or Bryan Foy, MD, system medical director of cardiovascular surgery. Your patient may be scheduled for same-day diagnostic testing, if appropriate.

If it is determined that your patient is a candidate for treatment, our coordinator will schedule the procedure and assist with every detail of your patient’s stay. This may include hotel recommendations and free meal passes for any loved ones that accompany the patient.

Physician involvement

We will maintain close communications with you so you’re always involved. And, when your patient undergoes a procedure, we invite you to witness it first-hand, furthering your knowledge on a variety of treatments.
