RunSMART

Train smart so you can run more. Is weakness, injury or inexperience holding you back from reaching your endurance event goals? This conditioning program was created to aid in improving running efficiency while reducing the risk of common ailments such as plantar fasciitis, knee and IT band pain, shin splints and low back pain.

Laurie Lasseter, RRCA Running Coach, ACE Personal Trainer & multiple marathon runner, will teach you the proper way to incorporate the most effective training exercises for the foot, ankle, knee, hip complex and trunk into your routine to get & keep you running your best!

SHOCKWAVE

SHOCKWAVE is a High Intensity Training (HIT) program that challenges cardio, strength and core in only 30 minutes and is the most efficient total body workout. Only available through our Personal Training Institute, SHOCKWAVE utilizes the WaterRower GX machine making it the most unique program.

A fun, fast-paced, short-burst, 4 station circuit will challenge every system in your body to provide the most benefits in the least amount of time!

PILATES WITH PROPS

This class pulls out all the toys! Learn how the Pilate circle, BOSU, dyna-bands, balls and more are used following the Pilates way of exercise. This class is a match for every body and is especially beneficial for athletes of every discipline.

LINE ‘EM UP

Learn from Judi Rice, professional line dance instructor with 15 years of experience for an hour of hand clappin’, knee slappin’, yehawin’ fun! Dancing your way into shape! BOXING FITNESS 101

This class is a knock out! Challenge your endurance, hand-eye coordination, timing, agility, power, speed and strength. Increase your balance, body awareness and self-confidence during this powerful, total body workout. Focused training designed to increase your fitness utilizing various boxing equipment, punch/kick combinations and jump rope.

Workshops

ROLL AND RELEASE - FOAM ROLLER

Self-myofascial release is a fancy term for self-massage to release muscle tightness or trigger points.

This method can be performed with a foam roller or ball. By applying pressure to specific points on your body you are able to aid in the recovery of muscles and assist in returning them to normal function. Normal function means your muscles are elastic, healthy, and ready to perform at a moment’s notice. This instructional hands-on workshop teaching proper use of foam rollers and balls to help relieve tight muscles, tension and more…. “There’s no place like foam.”

AROMA RESTORATIVE YOGA

We’ll create a pose, surrender to gravity and infuse the body with breath. By adding pure essential oils we intensify the entire experience. Each oil has unique properties that will aid in grounding and relaxing us physically and emotionally with the guidance from Nancy Klotz, RYT.

FREE YOUR SHOULDERS

Release tension in your shoulders, neck and back. Regular yoga practice provides a splendid array of benefits that include stress reduction, increased flexibility, strength, better balance, posture, body awareness and enhanced overall sense of well-being. Explore yoga poses (asanas) designed to create more freedom in the areas of the shoulders, upper back, neck and chest. These areas of the body hold a great deal of tension. Open the gateway to the heart by freeing the shoulders. Julie Groves, RYT will guide you through this workshop. All levels welcome.
