My philosophy includes engaging and empowering women by using an approach that integrates both traditional and holistic treatments. To me, wellness involves not only medical health but also emotional and spiritual balance. I enjoy building collaborative relationships with my patients and providing preventive healthcare for women from adolescence through menopause.

The wait in the waiting room was somewhat long for being so early in the morning but once in the exam room it was very quick. Dr. Biester and her nurses were attentive, polite, pleasant. I didn't have any serious health issues to solve, but all questions about future considerations were addressed and Dr. Biester made sure I knew that she and her office were a resource to utilize. Thank you!

This past visit Dr. Beister asked me a few questions regarding prescription from a previous doctor. She asked questions and took the time to understand my situation and explain the prescription whereas my previous doctor who prescribed the medication to me, did not. For years, I was taking this medicine improperly. I was so thankful that she took the time to understand why I was taking it and why it was prescribed. And that she explained to me so that I understood all of this.

Doctor Biester appeared put off my questions. I had been looking up possible causes for my pain online and she seemed offended when I asked her about it like I was questioning her judgement when in reality, I just wanted more clarification on what my diagnosis was. Her responses created an uncomfortable environment where I felt uneasy about asking all of my questions.

This my very first time at the Elmhurst hospital! from the time I entered through the Main entrance at 5:50 a.m. I was greeted with such a pleasant and warm greeting. Directed to the second floor for surgery and getting prepped! Elaine Biester is a Phenomenal Ob/ Gyne and the staff at Elmhurst from the anthiesolgist to staff just passing by! It was a very pleasant first experience! Kudos to Elmhurst! Thanks for the excellent service Dr. Biester of course, .... The entire Care Team surgery reception! Thanks again and sorry if I missed a name! Awesome experience

I would have liked more thorough feedback from my doctor refering to lab results. The nurse very promtly and thoughtfully responded to questions I sent using the online MyChart message center regarding my lab result but with some typos/spelling errors that I found a bit unprofessional. I visited for the first time with this doctor because the appointment I schedule with my normal doctor was cancelled. I made the appointment online, received a phone and email confirmation/reminder, but when I appeared for my appointment, the receptionist responded that there must have been a glitch in the system because the doctor was out of the office that week. This was very frustrating.
