Morta Lapkus, MD, a breast surgical oncologist, has joined Edward-Elmhurst Medical Group.

Dr. Lapkus earned her medical degree from Indiana University. She completed her general surgery residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, and her breast surgical oncology fellowship at NorthShore University Health System/University of Chicago Medicine.
Dr. Lapkus is fluent in English and Lithuanian. Her clinical interests include benign breast disease, breast cancer, high risk breast disease, breast cancer risk assessment, genetic testing/counseling, oncoplastic surgery and nipple sparing mastectomy.
