Samer F. Najjar, MD, a vascular surgeon, has joined Edward-Elmhurst Medical Group.

Dr. Najjar earned his medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine, completed an internship and residency at Tufts University/New England Medical Center as well as a residency at Medical College of Virginia. He completed a cardiothoracic research fellowship at VA Boston Healthcare/Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and a vascular surgery fellowship at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University.
Dr. Najjar is fluent in English, French and Arabic. His clinical interests include management of abdominal aortic aneurysms (open and endovascular), carotid artery disease (surgical and stenting), complex leg wounds, limb salvage (bypass surgery and angioplasty), hemodialysis access, varicose veins and wound care.
