Volunteer at Elmhurst Hospital

Volunteers are an essential part of the Elmhurst Hospital mission "to advance the health of our communities by providing outstanding healthcare services." Over 700 volunteers contribute thousands of service hours in 80 departments each year. And each volunteer is helping us make Elmhurst a better place for our patients.

Join our volunteer team

If you're interested in volunteering, we have a place for you on our team. To make your volunteer experience at the hospital as rewarding as possible, our Volunteer Services staff will work closely with you to match your skills and interests with the right position.

We have volunteer opportunities available in dozens of areas on the main campus, as well as in our outpatient locations and retail shops. Volunteer hours and days are flexible, although a minimum of 50 hours of work is required within a six-month period.
