Stroke Support Group: Let's talk about stroke recovery

Our goal is to gather and support stroke survivors, their families and caregivers. We provide a forum for learning about the stroke recovery process. Our guest speakers will offer insight, education and tips for moving forward to you and your loved ones. 

The group meets on the second Monday of every month from 5-6 pm. Due to COVID-19, meetings will be held virtually via WebEx until further notice. Registration is required. When in-person meetings resume, the group will meet at Edward Hospital Education Center, 801 S. Washington St., Room E301, in Naperville.

STARS: Stroke Treatment and Resource Support

A monthly meeting for stroke survivors, family members and caregivers. Each meeting begins with a brief educational program followed by time for discussion and group support.

The group meets from 3 - 4:30 p.m. at Elmhurst Hospital, 155 E. Brush Hill Road, Arboretum Conference Center, Maple Room. Please park in the green parking lot on the East side of the hospital. Come in the East entrance and take the elevators to the lower level conference center, Maple Room. For more information please call 331-221-0293.

CARS: Concussion, Access, Resource and Support

This group provides support for individuals who have experienced a concussion and their families. Meetings include education and discussion that provides an opportunity for attendees to collaborate by sharing experiences, strategies and concerns as well as offering support to one another. 

Meets the second Wednesday of each month from 7-8 pm at the IMED building, 1331 W. 75th St. in Naperville.

Meetings will be held in the conference room on the main level. Attendees can park in the lot in front of the main entrance. The conference room is located to the left of the elevators.
