Philosophy Of Care

I believe that the journey to wellness involves not only the medications that we prescribe for our patients, but the relationships that we build with them and their families. Without this trust, we cannot bring the improvements in nutrition, physical activity, stress reduction, and sleep hygiene that are necessary for the good health of our patients.

I really appreciated the time and thoroughness of the doctor. I didn't feel as though the doctor was in a rush and she listened to all of my concerns.

I feel as if she just did not care about anything I said. It was almost as if she wanted to be somewhere else because she just brushed passed everything I said.

The doctor was kind and very pleasant. However, as this was my first visit and with a new doctor, I thought she would take more time to go over my medical history in order to determine why I was there. Yes, I did fill her in a bit, yet I thought she would take more to do so.There was no blood work offered in the office, no Deca scan available either. She came back with scripts and suggested I contact my insurance to see where I could get these things done at a decent cost. I asked where she might suggest I go, yet she had no suggestions. To be honest, the office is convenient, but I was really disappointed in the visit, II truly thought it would be more comprehensive, and I was mistaken. My other concern is when I send my results for all these appointments I had to make, what should I expect for feedback? Will it be, "Everything looks good" via an email, a personal phone call? I also need a prescription refill. I will see how the follow-through goes, and make a decision then if I will stay or find another provider next year.

Dr seemed very dismissive of my health concerns. I'm assuming this is because I was referred to her thru my insurance and my health issue (although falling under her area/department) was not her specific area of interest in the department. She made a comment at the of the visit saying for any future doctors I should call ahead and see if they handle my exact symptoms so that I'm not wasting their appointments. Overall was a very petty comment and uncalled for; she made it seem like I was not worth her time. I will not be coming back.
