Philosophy Of Care

As a hand and upper extremity surgeon, my goal is to provide every patient with compassionate, high quality care. I believe listening to my patients symptoms is key to identifying the correct diagnosis and to creating an evidence-based treatment plan that optimizes health and functionality. A focused, well directed course of therapy can successfully treat many hand, wrist, and elbow ailments. If surgery is necessary, I am trained in both cutting edge open and minimally invasive techniques. I have experience caring for the most complex injuries, including replantation and reconstruction of amputated hands and fingers. Whether your hope is to return to professional sports or perform daily activities without pain, I am committed to working with you to achieve your goals.

I am very, very happy with Dr. Patel. He listens, is caring and kind and excellent care. There is zero ego and has handled all of my needs (including some other issues about my health that could be relevant to the nature of my hand/arm/finger/elbow issues) and is honest with his responses. Truthfully, I like him so much I wish I could clone him so he could be all of my doctors (GP, Gyn, etc.) because of these extremely desirable qualities.
