I am a nurse first, and believe my role as a provider is to assist my patient in the planning, development, and monitoring of their health. I chose to pursue my doctorate in nursing, so that I could expand my knowledge and in doing so, the resources I could offer my patients. My goal is to partner with my patients to provide excellent care and improve their health outcomes.

I basically waited three months to find out that I would have my colonoscopy in ANOTHER three months. Why not just SAY that my colonoscopy would take six months? Supposedly checking my stomach three months before my actual procedure, by a PA for two minutes, has got to be a poor excuse for just saying that my colonoscopy would take another three months!
