Philosophy Of Care

I strive to provide compassionate care through open communication with my patients, addressing all of their concerns, promoting a healthy lifestyle and disease prevention. For me, it is important to put the patient in the center of their own care and treatment decision, help them better understand their disease, treatment options and long-term outcomes.

I'm tired of being blown off because of my weight. I'm having serious problems & every time I go in she talks over me, ignores my concerns & tells me to loose weight - even though I have made it very clear I have an eating disorder - there is no sensitivity to the subject or functional solutions offered.

Dr. Elezi did not care about me or what I had to say about my own health or my concerns at all. She was late coming in (and I was her first appt first thing in the morning), and she was rushing me out of the room the whole time. She didn't even get the full picture of my issue because she was staring at the computer (standing there, not even sitting down) instead of listening to what I had to say. She talked AT me (or talked AT the computer at least because she barely glanced over to me), instead of having a conversation WITH or even talking TO me. I would NOT recommend this provider - or her PA, who made me feel incredibly judged while I answered personal and sensitive questions about my health and my life. You are supposed to be comfortable being completely transparent with your doctor so you can collaboratively find the right paths/solutions for your OWN care! How is one supposed to do that when they are being judged by the PA, and just trampled by the doctor so she can get to her next patient? Very poor experience.
