Lauren is a licensed clinical social worker educated at the University of Michigan and University of Chicago’s School of Social Service Administration. Lauren’s style is directive, warm, and empathic, and builds upon her belief in one’s inherent resiliency and personal strengths. Lauren has worked in a variety of settings including inpatient, private practice, child welfare, and community health clinics. She is Gottman certified, trauma-informed, and has extensive experience working with attachment issues across the life span. Her eclectic therapeutic approaches include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gottman’s Couples Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Lauren’s special clinical interest includes Women’s Issues, Couples, Adults, and Older Adolescents.
