Zahab S. Ahsan, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, who is fellowship-trained in sports medicine, and has devoted his educational career to mastering the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries. He is committed to guiding his patients to a complete recovery and a life without pain or restrictions through innovative treatment and minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery of the knee, shoulder, and elbow.
He completed residency training in Orthopedic surgery at the prestigious University of Washington and Harborview Medical Centers in Seattle, WA. Dr. Ahsan completed fellowship in Shoulder Surgery and Sports Medicine at the world-renowned Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in New York City, annually recognized by U.S. News and World Report as the #1 Hospital for Orthopedic Surgery.
Dr. Ahsan’s high level of patient care is guided by his experience providing sports medicine care to professional athletes of the NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, MLS, and U.S. Olympic team. In addition, he was selected as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor for 2023 and an IL Top Doc approved provider in orthopedics in 2023.
Dr. Ahsan is passionate about treating active individuals of all ages and backgrounds. His approach is catered to each patient through the application of the most state-of-the-art and evidence-based techniques.
