Philosophy Of Care

I provide care for adults with minimal to complex medical conditions. My care philosophy focuses on the patient’s health needs and goals which includes the physical and mental aspect. I recognize that health is not just the work-up and imaging that we obtain, but also revolves around how patient’s feel mentally. As a provider, I hope to create an environment of trust, compassion, and care with an aim to allow my patient to feel valued and cared for and also to advocate for their needs. I also recognize how important it is for patient’s to be educated on their medical conditions to be able to advocate for themselves as well and be part of the decision-making process. Preventative care is also an important aspect to my care philosophy. Being proactive and recognizing conditions earlier, can allow for treatments and control in hopes to achieve a good quality of life and prevent the worst possible outcome. Lastly, I chose to be a primary care physician because I enjoy being a part of my patient’s journey of health from the beginning to the end. We cross paths with many people in life, but a physician has the opportunity to be an important part of someone’s story. This is the philosophy I work by. I hope to see you in clinic!
