Preparing your child for a doctor’s appointment

It’s not unusual for a child to be frightened or overwhelmed at the idea of an upcoming doctor’s appointment. If your child is scheduled to have an appointment at one of our Pediatric offices, you can use these story cards to help prepare them for their visit.

If there is a section that feels scary to your child, stop and talk about how you can work together to make it less scary.
