How we can help
At the Cardiac Innovations & Structural Heart Center, we bring together the latest in innovative therapies and new procedures to help patients who previously had no other alternatives.
If you have been diagnosed with severe aortic stenosis, atrial fibrillation (Afib), degenerative mitral regurgitation, chronic total occlusion or heart failure, and are looking for alternative treatment options or a second opinion, please contact our patient coordinator at 630-527-3730, Monday-Friday from 9 am- 5pm, or fill out this form.
Our patient coordinator will respond within 24-48 hours. She will discuss your concerns with you to help determine if you are a candidate for an initial consultation.
What to expect
All initial consultations are conveniently located at the Edward-Elmhurst Heart Hospital (on the Edward Hospital campus), 801 S. Washington St., Naperville, Illinois.
On the day of the initial consultation, you will be examined by Dr. Goodwin or Dr. Foy. You may also be scheduled for same-day diagnostic testing, if appropriate.
If it is determined that you are a candidate for treatment, we will discuss your customized treatment plan with you and your family, and answer any questions you may have. Then our coordinator will navigate you through the process, which includes scheduling the procedure and assisting with every detail of your stay.
This may include hotel recommendations and free meal passes for any loved ones that accompany you.
If your physician referred you to the Cardiac Innovations & Structural Heart Center, we will maintain close communications with him or her regarding our recommendations, treatment plans and outcomes.
