Levels of care
After your initial assessment is complete, the Linden Oaks Behavioral Health care team will work with you to decide on the level of care that can best meet your needs. Your personalized plan may also include individual, group or family therapy as another outlet to talk about your feelings and understand your illness.
Adolescents, adults and older adults who are facing severe behavioral health issues such as depression, addiction or an eating disorder may be referred to our inpatient treatment program. During this time, the individual stays at Linden Oaks Behavioral Health and is closely cared for as we work toward long-term recovery. Each day includes time with therapists, psychiatrists and other mental health associates.
Our Special Intensity Unit is a safe, structured environment designed to reduce external stimulation for those experiencing acute and severe psychiatric symptoms. This unit is especially useful for those who require more support.
Linden Oaks Behavioral Health works in partnership with multiple local residential programs. This can be an alternative or follow up to inpatient treatment.
Arabella House: Eating disorder residential facility
At Linden Oaks, we believe that people can fully recover from eating disorders. That’s why we’ve established Arabella House, a transitional living home for female adolescents and adults age 16 and older who are recovering from an eating disorder and need help shifting back to their daily lives.
This unique home, located in the heart of Naperville, IL, provides an attractive, comfortable setting that offers both privacy as well as a strong sense of community. We provide a safe, respectable environment where recovering individuals learn how to be responsible for their own health and happiness.
As one of the only centers in Illinois to offer transitional care for eating and related disorders, Linden Oaks Behavioral Health is committed to providing the highest quality of care for its program residents.
Linden Oaks offers the following outpatient treatment programs:
Our Partial Hospitalization Program is designed to be an alternative to or a follow up after inpatient treatment. It provides a higher level of care than traditional outpatient programs and consists of 6 hours of treatment daily, including group, individual and family therapy.
The Intensive Outpatient Program is more intense than traditional outpatient programs and includes 3.5 hours of programming each day. It can be used after inpatient treatment and helps the patient move toward outpatient care and daily routines. The IOP program offers group, individual and family therapy.
Linden Oaks works in partnership with local outpatient therapy providers as well as the counselors/therapists of Linden Oaks Medical Group.
