Mental Health First Aid Consortium

The Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Consortium comprises organizations that have designated specific employees to be MHFA instructors. Our consortium instructors volunteer to teach at least three MHFA courses a year. Sometimes these MHFA classes are held at our partner organizations, but many MHFA classes at held at workplaces, churches, schools and public venues throughout the Chicago area.

Consortium partners include schools, churches, not-for-profits and individuals passionate about teaching our MHFA curriculum. The diversity of the instructors' backgrounds ensures instructors can connect to a wide range of MHFA audiences. While it is only possible to join the consortium by having an employee become an MHFA instructor, any organization can host an MHFA class.
