Evening/Weekend Creative Arts Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

The utilization of creative arts therapy offers a distinctive and impactful pathway to stimulate healing, personal development and self-exploration.

Group therapy for adults seeking an experiential approach to treatment

Our Evening/Weekend IOP provides an evidence based creative arts treatment model. This group-based program incorporates Art Therapy, Music Therapy, Dance/Movement Therapy, Animal-Assisted Therapy, Horticultural Therapy, Recreation Therapy and Occupational Therapy. 

Together, these modalities provide a dynamic and comprehensive avenue for delving into emotions, nurturing self-awareness, and catalyzing mental health recovery.

The program is for adults 18 and older who are:

  • Experiencing significant mental health challenges which interfere with academic/work, social and/or daily functioning
  • Seeking mental health treatment through alternative methods to process, express and regulate emotions with experiential interventions
  • Have an interest in using the creative process to gain a deeper understanding of their thoughts, emotions, behaviors and past experiences
  • Curious about learning mindfulness and grounding techniques through a multisensory approach
  • Interested in problem-solving and cultivating self-confidence and resilience by embracing their uniqueness and creativity as a strength

Participant requirements:

  • Adults, 18 and older
  • Willingness to participate in a multimodal treatment approach
  • Willingness to participate in group therapy and attend all sessions
  • Primary diagnosis cannot be a substance use disorder or eating disorder

  • Tuesday & Thursday from 4 pm - 7 pm; Saturday from 9 am - 12 pm
