Wait Times

Please call 911 if you have an emergency or urgent medical question.

How do we calculate our wait times?

Our emergency department wait time calculations are based on the "door to treatment" time—the average estimated length of time starting from when you check in at the ER to the time you are placed in a private patient suite and treatment begins. The times are updated every 15 minutes, based on actual wait times from the preceding 30 minutes.

Actual times can vary due to a number of circumstances. For example, patients who arrive at our emergency departments with life-threatening injuries or illnesses are treated immediately upon arrival, which may affect your wait time.

Wait Time Information
Our wait times average 30 minutes or less but can vary due to many circumstances. For instance, patients who arrive with life threatening and more serious injuries and ailments are seen before those with non-life threatening problems.

You're encouraged to check with your insurance company well before an urgent situation arises so you'll be familiar with your plan's coverage for both immediate and emergency care situations.

Wait times are updated every 15 minutes.
