Philosophy Of Care

My patient care philosophy is to promote health and provide compassionate medical care to my patients. I strive to develop a plan of care that involves my patients in decision making to best facilitate participation in their own care. I take pride in doing this by having open communication and developing a mutual respectful relationship with my patients and often their family members.
As a Nurse Practitioner in wound care and family practice I have seen the devastating effects Diabetes can have. I love the ability to focus my practice on helping patients improve and prolong quality of life with Diabetes. Staying informed on the latest technologies and medical therapies allows me to provide relevant and appropriate care.
