Philosophy Of Care

Ashley is a Registered Play Therapist who uses Child Centered Play Therapy with children as a means to help them increase their self-esteem, increase their internal locus of control, as well as a means to help them process past traumas and/or everyday stressors through their first language of play. With adults, Ashley uses CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) as therapeutic interventions, since she believes in empowering clients by helping them learn skills to help manage their presenting problems. Ashley is kind, caring, easy to talk to, and deeply cares about each and every one of her clients, wanting to help them achieve their goals in whatever ways she can. Ashley also specializes in Christian Counseling if this is something that a client specifically requests.
