I love Dr. Czapiel and I would NEVER switch to another doctor but the receptionist area is complete chaos! there were times I called and cancelled appointments and they said I was a no show so someone isn't reporting incoming calls or someone doesn't know how to change it in the computer. sometimes I call and I have been on hold for over an hour! any message I leave at the front desk to give to the doctor never seems to get to the doctor or it. gets to the doctor but the message ends up turning into the incorrect message. love the people and the office but there r some pretty major organizational hiccups in their system or their way!

There was some confusion on blood work ordered by my doctor. The in-house lab would not accept my Humana HMO because as explained to me Edward didn't come to an agreement with provider on laboratory costs; however, my wife got her blood work done in September during her annual checkup. I called Humana and they said they would pay if billed by Edward Hospital. Anway discussions went on for a while and the clinic decided to do my blood work stating that I should go through Quest because they will have to eat the cost this time. I don't understand why anyone has to eat any payments. it seems there is some miscommunication Issues with Edward and Humana that have to be ironed out without patient involvement.
