In this video, Lisa Murphy, APRN, discusses transitioning to a whole food, plant-powered diet.

Murphy explains that a whole food, plant-powered diet consists of eating as close to nature as possible, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, nuts, seeds and plant proteins. The potential health benefits of this type of diet include reducing blood sugar and blood pressure, lowering cancer risk and diabetes risk, positively impacting longevity and improving quality of life.
