About the program

We understand managing your weight can be a daunting experience. Each individual is at a different place in his or her journey, so we provide both non-surgical and surgical options.

Medical Management Therapy

We follow the gold standard for weight management therapy by addressing medical, nutritional, physical and behavioral aspects. Our program through Zaid Jabbar, MD, Omar Shamsi, MD, and Kim Doyle, NP, offers this comprehensive, multi-disciplinary approach.

Rachel had a weight problem her entire life… until now.  Read her story

Types of Bariatric Procedures

Weight loss surgery is a personal decision. Before surgery, your health care team will work with you to help you choose the best option. Ryan Headley, MD, and Mark Choh, MD will perform the operations laparoscopically which will help you recover faster with fewer complications. We offer these surgical options:

  • Roux-en-y gastric bypass
  • Vertical sleeve gastrectomy
  • Adjustable gastric band

Who is eligible for weight loss surgery?

People who fall within these guidelines are potential candidates for bariatric surgery:

  • Anyone with BMI greater than or equal to 40 without co-morbidities
  • BMI of 35 with obesity-related co-morbidity
