We Care Hinsdale raised $10,231 in support of Edward Foundation’s Linden Oaks Hospital Fund. The non-profit, established by five Hinsdale Central High School students, was formed to spread mental health awareness among teenagers in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
By selling sweatshirts through the group’s Instagram account and in-person pop-up events and by partnering with local companies, We Care Hinsdale aims to raise funds for those directly impacted by mental health struggles. Their mission is to spread positive reinforcement among peers who are struggling with mental health issues ranging from anxiety to depression.
