Edward Foundation adds two new board members

Bill Mitchell and Melissa Peterson have been named to the Edward Foundation Board of Trustees.

Bill-Mitchell

Mitchell, a resident of Naperville, is Founder/Owner of Benefits Insurance Group. He was previously a member of the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce and has served as board chair, and previously served on the Naperville Public Library board, including one year as president.  He is a former Trustee of Naperville Education Foundation and a recipient of NEF’s Distinguished Service Award.

Mitchell has volunteered with Heritage YMCA Group and Naperville United Way. He earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accounting at the University of Iowa.

Melissa-Peterson

Peterson, a resident of Naperville, is Artistic Director of Envision Dance Company in Naperville. She was previously Owner and Artistic Director of Downstage Dance Company in Shorewood.

Peterson has volunteered at Beebe Elementary Home and School in Naperville and served on the boards of Saybrook Tennis Club and Saybrook Garden Club, both in Naperville. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA.
