15th Annual SHARE "A Walk to Remember"

October 31, 2019
SHARE Walk 174 More than 1,200 people took part in SHARE’s 15th Annual “A Walk to Remember” on Saturday, Oct. 12 at the Riverwalk Grand Pavilion in downtown Naperville. SHARE, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2019, is a support group at Edward Hospital (Naperville) and Elmhurst Hospital for those who have experienced a miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth or neonatal death. The event featured a memorial service in which the names of 275 babies were read, followed by a one-and-a-half mile walk.

Walk proceeds support SHARE’s counseling services, bereavement training and education, and the Wings of Hope Angel Garden at Edward Hospital, an outdoor space that was designed as a place where grieving parents can seek peace and comfort, as well as memorialize their child.
