David Peng, MD, MPH, board certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine, has joined the Edward Neurosciences Institute (ENI) in affiliation with Northwestern Medicine.

Dr. Peng earned his medical degree from Michigan State University in East Lansing. He completed his internship at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, and his residency in anesthesiology and fellowship in pain management at Stanford University Hospitals and Clinics in California.
Dr. Peng treats all types of pain and uses interventional pain procedures to address pain resulting from arthritis, cancer and musculoskeletal conditions. To treat patients, he uses epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency ablation procedures and more advanced techniques, such as spinal cord stimulation and kyphoplasty.
Dr. Peng, who is fluent is Mandarin Chinese, is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, California Society of Anesthesiologists, Michigan Society of Anesthesiologists, Connecticut Society of Anesthesiologists, American Society of Regional Anesthesia, American Academy of Pain Medicine and American Pain Society.
