Kishwaukee Medical Associates joins Edward-Elmhurst Health

Kishwaukee Medical Associates (KMA), a family medicine practice based in Sycamore, has joined Edward-Elmhurst Health, a system of three hospitals and more than 50 outpatient locations across the west and southwest suburbs of Chicago.

The partnership, which began January 1, will give KMA patients access to a wider range of health insurance plans, a more integrated electronic medical record system and advanced specialty care.

KMA, located at 954 W. State St. in Sycamore, has six family medicine physicians – Drs. Kristin Mock, Ketan Morker, Catherine Ruetten, Timothy Ruetten and Michael Thornton, and two advanced practice clinicians – Elaine Lawrence and Cheri Sprietler, bothl nurse practitioners (NP).

In addition to caring for patients of all ages (newborns to seniors), KMA also offers lab, sleep, imaging and cardiac diagnostic services, and has a Walk-In Clinic with extended hours to treat minor illnesses.
