Linden Oaks Behavioral Health has named Aaron Weiner, PhD as its new Director of Addictions.
Prior to joining Linden Oaks, Dr. Weiner served as the Clinical Director of the Spectrum Health Addiction Rehabilitation Program in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Dr. Weiner, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, earned his doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and completed his postdoctoral fellowship in Addiction Psychology with the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System in Michigan.
He is a strong advocate for evidence-based care in treating chemical dependency and behavioral addictions, as well as for the benefits of integrating behavioral health services into medical settings. Dr. Weiner is passionate about educating healthcare providers and the general public about the nature and treatment of addictions – helping medical teams provide compassionate, competent care, and empowering patients to become informed consumers about their addiction treatment options.
Linden Oaks Behavioral Health offers a variety of specialized programs at each stage of the recovery process for adolescents, adults and families suffering from drug and alcohol addiction. Linden Oaks’ care includes detox, residential and intensive outpatient programs, and continuing support.
