The Edward-Elmhurst Health Center & Immediate Care is open and providing services at 1804 N. Naper Blvd., near the intersection of Naper Blvd. and Diehl Rd., on the north side of Naperville.
In addition to Immediate Care, the 10,000-square-foot Center also offers the primary care physicians of Edward Medical Group (EMG) and X-ray services.
Immediate Care, open Mon. – Fri., 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Sat., Sun. and holidays, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., is recommended for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, such as sprains, strains or fractures; cuts or minor wounds (including those requiring stitches); fevers, colds, flu, earaches, sinus infections, urinary tract infections and others. Treatment is provided by board certified physicians and nurses specially trained in emergency care.
“Immediate Care is a convenient, closer-to-home option for those illnesses and injuries that need attention right away, but don’t rise to the level of needing the lifesaving services provided by a 24/7 ER,” says Tom Scaletta, MD
, Medical Director, Emergency Services, Edward Hospital.
