Monetary Donations

Personal Protective Equipment

Edward-Elmhurst Health plans to use medical grade and approved personal protective equipment as the first line for our front lines. However, we will be accepting all commercially and home-made PPE as emergency back-up supplies. In the event we do not need to use those supplies we will work with other organizations to put them to use to the best of our ability. Items most needed include:

• N95 masks
• Procedural/surgical masks
• Hand sanitizer
• Disinfectant wipes
• Nitrile gloves
• Isolation gowns
• Goggles
• Thermometers

If you have new or unused equipment and would like to make a donation, please visit us at our Loading Dock and we will receive your donation in a safe manner. Donations will be accepted between 9am and 12pm starting on Thursday, March 26. The loading dock at Elmhurst Hospital is located on Harvard Street on the north end of the building. Food Donations

We are happy to work with you if you are interested in donating commercially prepared meals to staff at Elmhurst. Our staff is working around the clock and greatly appreciates your support. Given the need to keep our front lines safe we ask that you email your offer to Donations@EEHealth.org and we will contact you to help coordinate.

Blood Donations

While we are working to contain the spread of COVID-19 there is still a critical need for blood donations. Blood donations are allowed under the stay at home order and special precautions are being taken to maintain social distancing and sanitation requirements. If you are healthy and able to give blood, please contact your local blood donation center or click here for information.
